Jessica Fenton
“When my son was 19 months old, he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder. Fortunately, my experience helped me to recognize and treat his ASD symptoms very early on. My background laid the ground work for securing and managing services for him. My son is now almost 7 yrs. old and is flourishing! While it has been a challenge at times, his progress has exceeded everyone's expectations. He grows more social and reveals more brilliance each day. The journey of raising a child with an ASD diagnosis has given me more tools and greater perspective than any other role I have taken on professionally. I have learned so much and I look forward to using that knowledge and experience in serving others for years to come.”
After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from West Chester University in 2000, Jessica Fenton began her 21 yr. career providing Supports Coordination Services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. In 2008, she received her Master’s Degree with a specialty in Counseling. Jessica has also provided community consultation services to empower female professionals and entrepreneurs to help manage within the disabilities system. However Jessica’s heart has always remained with Supports Coordination. Over the years Jessica has helped, and continues to help, numerous consumers and families secure funding and find quality provider agencies that best serve their loved one. She considers herself to be blessed to have been able maintain a career in the Supports Coordination field for over 2 decades.
Carolyn Gerace
“As long as I can remember, I always wanted to be in the helping field. When I was in elementary school, my best friend’s brother was diagnosed with intellectual and physical disabilities. Seeing the amazing love, support and care that their single mom provided him and their whole family was awe inspiring. I’ll never forget how amazing she was and the experience of spending time with them gave me the drive to have a meaningful career. Shortly after I graduated high school, another good friend of mine was diagnosed with Leukemia. When I met her hospital Social Worker, I instantly knew that this would be my major in college. It was the best decision that I ever made and I’m so grateful that others have helped shape my path and set me on my journey.”
Carolyn graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2000. She began her career with the Delaware County Dept. of Human Services at the Office of Intellectual Disabilities where she served as a Supports Coordinator for 7 yrs. Carolyn then spent 2 yrs with the Early Learning Resource Center, working with families to help them locate quality childcare and to obtain childcare subsidies. Carolyn then joined the Office of Early Intervention as a Supervisor - assisting Coordinators obtain services for children with developmental delays.
